The Sidi brand began in 1960 and in the year 1970 they started marketing Sidi Sportbike Motorcycle Boots. Each boot is designed to give the purchaser a custom fit feel. Each boot comes with two sets of adjusters; one at the front of the boot and the other at the back of the boot. Each adjuster is designed to tighten or loosen the calf and shin area of the boot. In having this ability, riders are able to create a custom feel each time they are put on. These supports give the ankle the ability to have normal, fluid movements, but take away the twisting motion that causes injury to an ankle joint.
