Leeds, United Kingdom, has a lot to offer to a diverse group of people. Leeds is the second largest business, legal, and finance center outside of London in the UK, and is an area steeped in culture and history. According to the Office for National Statistics it is the fastest growing city in the UK.

Close to the University of Leeds is a residential area called Little Woodhouse. This community is largely comprised of a diverse group of working class immigrants and students of the nearby University. A stately and scenic area, it is close to the Forest of Leeds and the Meanwood Valley Trail.

Very close to the University of Leeds is an area that is a favorite for students of the University. In the area are two mosques and one Hindu temple. Many outlets near these cater to the student community. Also in Hyde Park is the historic Hyde Park Picture House, an independent art house cinema. The nearby Brudenell Social Club is a members only venue for local and underground music.

The Headingley Community has been described as a "greener" community of Leeds. One of its prominent features is Headingley Stadium where rugby and cricket are played. With the construction of the Carnegie Pavilion, Headingley is one of the top three venues for cricket according to former Yorkshire Chief Executive Stewart Regan. Community gardens are a part of the attraction of Headingley, along with several community allotments. Many festivals, such as Litfest, a jazz fest, and an open garden event, make this area attractive as well.

Horsforth, a more astute community of Leeds, is said to be commutable by bicycle to the town centre by those who wish to commute in such a way (about eight miles). Trains with direct routes to Leeds, Harrogate, and York make this community very convenient. Bus service is also available to the town center and other surrounding areas. Many different types of restaurants are convenient to the residents of Horsforth. Italian, Indian, British, and French cuisines are just a few of the choices readily available.

Another astute and green area of Leeds is Rawdon. While "out of the way" in a way that many are looking for, it is also convenient to plenty to see and do. Less than ten kilometers away are the Boling Hall Museum, National Media Museum, and the Colour Museum offering cultural delights for the family. Pubs offering quiz night, billiards, darts, and other entertainment are also a short distance away.

Leeds offers nice respectful areas for everyone of every walk of life, with plenty to do for everyone.
