It doesn't matter whether you're thirty-two or twelve, male or female, your hairstyle reflects who you are. Here are seven well-known kids hair salons in London to steer you in the right direction.

1.Tantrum

Tantrum hair salon is a not for profit organisation located on the Kings Road. The layout is such that the younger kids stick together on Moon (upstairs), while the older ones hang out downstairs in Vogue. Not only have Tantrum's stylists studied in the best hairdressing schools, but they have been trained to work with children who, for the most part, hate having their hair cut.

2.Minikin

Minikin is an extremely popular children's clothing store and hairdresser located on Broadway Parade in North London. Kids are kept distracted by the available toys, while experienced stylists cut their hair. Price's range from £14.95-£18.95, and £16.95 for baby's first cut, which includes a photo and a lock of their hair tied with a bow.

3.Identity Hair & Beauty

Nestled in Belsize Park, Identity Hair & Beauty know how to entertain. Children get their hair cut while sitting on a rocking horse and watching cartoons! Prices range from £15-£35.

4.Trotters

Trotters is a famous children's clothing and accessory company, with several locations around London. They are quite well known for their hairdressing services, so you must bookahead. Kids are seated in front of the store's famous aquarium, where they can calmly watch the fish as they get their cuts. Another perk: certificates of bravery are awarded to first-timers.

5.The Children's Hair Salon

The Children's Hair Salon is located in Harrods department store and offers fun, cool cuts. The best part is kids are in and out in thirty minutes. Not to mention they are given the trendiest hairstyles- it is Harrods after all. Kids must be under eleven years of age.

6.Also Caramel

Brilliantly located between the Kings Road and Sloane Street, Also Caramel is contemporary and stylish. They have oak floors and high ceilings from which they hang children's clothes. Next to their well-known hairdressing studio is a playroom filled with toys for kids to enjoy. Finally a break for mum!

7.Headmasters

Headmasters is a chain of professional hair salons with locations all over London. For children, they have created a kids club where haircuts are available from £8 and up. Under ten-year olds get a colouring sheet, crayons, and entry into their HM competition for a chance to win a cuddly toy.
