Europe Airline Tickets: How to Make Your Long Distance Relationship Work

[Valid RSS feed]  Category Rss Feed - http://www.articlesbacklink.com/rss.php?rss=53
By : Mark Etinger

My boyfriend and I met around 2 years ago. He was a graduate student studying abroad from Israel and living in my residential building. It was really a love at first sight type of relationship. He really changed the way I saw the world, since I've been living in the same place for most of my life. He's moved back to Israel, but we've decided to stay together, despite our being oceans apart. Being in a long distance relationship is difficult, especially a transcontinental one. We've been doing the long distance thing for almost 8 months now and it's been wonderful. You might be thinking, how do you make it work? One thing that's for sure is that we both have a great relationship with our Brooklyn travel agency for cheap flights to Israel. Traveling back and forth to see each other is obviously a great way to keep the relationship going. And finding affordable options is even better. Here are some ways we keep our relationship going, even when we're thousands of miles apart.

-Set scheduled appointments to chat on the internet or the phone so you have something that's regular and consistent between the two of you. DO NOT however, set unrealistic expectations of your partner. If you are in different time zones, this will be especially difficult. If you have a scheduled Skype date or phone call, wait no more than 15 minutes. Sometimes people get caught up doing other things, so be understanding if they miss an appointment. What I like to do when my boyfriend misses our appointments? I send him an email telling him everything I want to say, even if I am a little bit frustrated with him. When he gets a chance, he'll read the email and write back and it's always something to look forward to, we always have the next appointment.

-I like to carry around a pad of paper to write things down every time I see, hear or think of something I want to tell him. I also like to time and date stamp them so he knows exactly when I wrote them. I'll either show these to him when I visit him or when he comes to visit me with cheap flights. Or I'll mail them to him.

-Meet somewhere that's not where either of you live. Arrange a vacation to meet at a new destination. This way, neither of you will have to say goodbye and leave someone behind, you'll both be going home. We like to travel around Europe, so we like to plan ahead and get Europe airline tickets in advance.

Just try to figure out what works for you and your partner. There's a lot of trial and error, but my suggestion is to try to see each other as often as possible. Traveling and knowing a great travel agency is the best option to go with.
