It is crucial to build an email marketing list that follows up with potential clients and can be tapped into for many years to come. An opt-in box can be included on the main page of your website or on a separate squeeze page. The goal is to collect as many names and email addresses as possible of people that are interested in your niche. Build this list as large as you can and use it as a vehicle to build a relationship with your subscribers. Most importantly, the key to thriving in this business is to pay attention to what other successful affiliate marketers are saying and doing. Find a good mentor.
