Anyone who goes on a camping vacation know all too well that camping supplies and equipment are crucial in the success of the trip. Without camping gear, a camper will not be able to make the most of out of the vacation. If you are going camping anytime soon, you should get a hold of this list, which enumerates all the items you cannot do without.

- Water and Food

This is a given since we all know we need food and water to survive. When you are in the middle of a forest, where there are no restaurants or convenience stores, it would be wise to bring sufficient food and water. Make sure you bring foods that do not easily spoil so you don't have to worry about getting upset stomach. If you are going to bring a cooler, see to it that you fill it up with ice to keep food fresh. As for the water, if you are not able to bring sufficient gallons of water and there is no fresh water available nearby, you can make use of water purifying tablets.

- Tent

Another thing you can't go camping without is the tent. The tent will serve as your home away from home. It will protect you from the weather. It will provide you with a cozy place to sleep. It will keep you warm and comfortable. All these things make it a necessary camping tool that you can't do without. Be sure to choose the right camping tent for the particular camping activity you intend to do. For example, if you are going with your family, family tents are ideal. If you are planning a backpacking adventure, you need to invest on a lightweight tent that you can easily carry on your back.

- Fire Starters/Light

Fire is an essential part of any camping trip. Not only does it serve as a source of light or a place to gather for telling spooky stories, fire also cooks food and keeps you warm in a cold night. This is why, you need to bring fire starters like lighters and matches in your camping trip. Lighting up a fire should be done with extra precaution. Ensure that you put out the campfire before you sleep. Extinguish it completely so it will not reignite. In line with this, lights are also crucial items to bring for the trip. Never forget to bring a camping lantern and flashlights.

- First Aid Kit

No matter how careful you are, it is still possible for an accident, injury, or sickness to occur during the camping trip. This is why, it is imperative for any camper to have with him/her a first aid kit that contains bandages, disinfectant, alcohol, tweezers, medications for common illnesses, and so on.

Camping is one of those activities that you will never get tired of doing. Just see to it that you bring all the right camping equipment and supplies especially those that you really cannot do without including the tent, food and water, fire starters, light, and first aid kit.
