Want to Know Why Your Dog is Barking?

Do you have a dog that is continually barking and can't figure out the reasons why? Discover secrets today why dogs bark that many dog owners fail to find out.

If you have a problem with your dog because he is barking continually then believe me you are not alone, many dog owners are under the illusion that this situation cannot be resolved but nothing could be further from the truth.

When a dog barks there are lots of reasons to why, they do it quite naturally they are sending you a message of some kind it's the only way verbally they can communicate with you.

Lets contemplate the explanations to why the dog is barking, bizarre as this may sound if you are inexperienced at keeping dogs, every dog bark has its own unique sounds when they bark, you need to take notice of these sounds in order to understand them, for instance; if we are calm then our voice sounds totally different to when we are shouting or annoyed, and in many cases with regard to barking dogs this can be similar.

By observing these tones will give you an indication to whether it is a friendly bark or an aggressive bark, don't take my word for it next time you are out and about listen to the different dog bark tones.

Countless owners of dogs in this day and age get dogs for security reasons; a barking dog in this situation is not a problem, on the other hand under the circumstances when a dog barks all the time and you can't figure out the reasons why, can be a problem and needs to be investigated thoroughly.

Experienced dog trainers are quite adamant that dog barking is a cry for attention, shouting at a dog in frustration is what many dog owners make the mistake of doing, and that is what the dog wants he now has your attention and thinks, that works so he will do this again and again.

The number two reason top is lack of exercise, when we first get our dogs we are very enthusiastic to walk them, however with many dog owners the novelty soon wears off and the result the dog feels deprived.

I realise when it is bucketing down with rain, or snowing or even to hot outside for walking the dog, then this task can get overlooked and the dog will bark to let you know he or she is not happy with this, but it is his way of letting you know.

The third reason is if he is inside and needs to relieve himself, its okay when we want to do this we go the bathroom and don't really think about it, however the dog has to rely on you to let him out into the garden or take him to the local park so again the only way he knows how is to bark.

However another reason is arguably the most annoying barking dog situation is when the dog never stops, even when he is punished and thrown outside it just continues and this can be frustrating for the owners plus it upsets the neighbours.

A typical situation is if you have a neighbour who works shift work as many people do, after a tough night at work all he or she wants to do is get some sleep, and a barking dog can drive you crazy when you are tired and in this state of mind.

The result has several sets of consequences shouting and losing patience with a dog is a natural reaction, but that really does not work, in some cases people will complain to the authorities they are quite within their rights and you then make bad relationships with people that live around you, and that's not a good situation it affects everybody and solves nothing.

There is no easy answer to this problem but yelling simply does not work, dogs very rarely continually bark for no reason they are troubled in some way or another so its up to you to build a relationship with your dog and find out the reason why.

A colleague of mine some time previously shared a trick he implicated with his dog that was continually barking for no reason, at the time my thoughts were this could not possibly work, however knowing his dog was a problem dog the results he achieved were nothing short of amazing that made me think again.

Instead of yelling at your dog try the reverse and lower your voice and speak so that the dog has to pay attention to hear you, he explained this simply did not work on the first occasion mainly because the dog did not expect this to happen but on a consistent basis this was very effective and certainly solved his dog barking problems.
