Network marketing is an excellent home-based business and the rewards are high. As a network marketer and distributor, growing your business and organization is your ultimate aim. No one wants to build a network marketing business that peaks and then just stops. A network marketing business is a growing business and if not attended to daily, will decline, just like any other business. Embracing Change As a network marketer and distributor, it is important that you understand the need to adapt to change. Growing a business requires change. Many network marketers rebel when it comes for change and growth and stay in their comfort zone because of the discomfort that change brings. But if you remain comfortable and rebel against change, you will also not be a successful in your business. Network marketers find change difficult to deal with. I'm referring to the kind of change that takes you from one level up to the next. For example, learning how to effectively present your opportunity to more prospects and recruiting them in your organization or downline. You should realize that change and growth is only an internal thing and is uncomfortable temporarily, and all successful network marketers went through the same process. Polish your communication skills and master the art of presenting your ideas to others. Network marketing is about helping people and you should be passionate about that. There are also network marketers who choose to be under the heavy hitters, or the leaders who bring in the most sign-ups, hoping that the recruitment would somehow spill over into their matrix, without them having to do anything. This almost usually never happens. And when success does not come, they blame the compensation plan of being too complex or only favor the company, or the products are just not right. The easiest blame is to point it at the economy. This is the primary reason why network marketers hop from one opportunity to another, although the business plan is almost the same. They are always excited when joining a new company as people usually do when they venture into something new. But when the hard reality sinks in that they have to adapt to change, the feelings of disappointment is a certainty. Two Keys For Success As A Network Marketer To be successful in network marketing, you have to understand these 2 keys: 1. Growth and success requires that you change and adapt to change 2. Growth means stepping outside of your comfort zone Before you can succeed in this business, you have to understand and embrace these two keys. Change and stepping out of your comfort zone is all that you need and is doable. Once you master new skills, what was once uncomfortable becomes easy and you get better and better at it. Focus on what really drives your success - you. All of the network marketers today that are successful and living their dreams had stepped out of their comfort zone and embraced change.
