Want to save your self a ton of money on your dog grooming bills? Learn the secrets today to find out how to do it your self at a fraction of the cost and have a great smelling dog

Professional dog grooming is big business and can be quite expensive there are many services available for example; dog grooming parlours, mobile dog grooming, and others that will come to your home and perform this service

The question is why do we need to groom our dogs?

Expert opinion is to groom a dog is as important as grooming ourselves to a certain extent. Ask yourself this question if you went a week without taking a bath or a shower how would you feel or more to the point how would people respond towards you?

When a dog does not smell too good and he or she jumps up we have a tendency to turn away from them, and dogs are very sensitive towards this and can feel rejected.

The point is all dogs need grooming as we do ourselves, even dogs with a small amount of hair in their coat.

The subject is how difficult is it to groom your own dog and is it possible for you to achieve this?

The main reason so many dogs are not groomed on a regular basis is down to cost, after all if we had to pay someone every time we had to be washed or groomed there would be a lot of dirty people in the world.

If you are one of the many people unable to afford to have your dog groomed by a professional then it is not hard to perform this task your self you just need to learn how to do it and the cost is pennies on the dollar.

Here are a few pointers to get started. The primary thing is to wash the dog in a shampoo, however be cautious with your choice of commercial shampoos they can be expensive and often cause skin irritation and dryness of the skin, making your own herbal shampoo is by far the best option if you know how.

You will need some dog's towels a couple of face cloths plus a Loofah; this is to get rid of the dead skin, plus a bath mat where the material is made of a material similar to a towel.

When you are washing your dog this can be very stressful for the dog, it important to be as calm as possible, don't just thro your dog in the tub and expect him to like it, treat him like a new born baby.

After a while if you go about this in the right way he or she will love it for many reasons, she is getting attention, and feel she is being cared for and much more.

Dog grooming is a very in depth subject and I can only touch the fringe of it in this situation, however I hope this is enough to get you started.
