Speed and strength motorcycle boots come in three styles of shoe for different types of bike riding. The Coast is Clear Motorcycle Boot, the Moment of Truth Shoe, and the Shift Racing Kicker Shoe each has specific benefits for their riding style. You can also get jackets and gloves in the speed and strength line. The Coast is Clear Waterproof Boot is a ¾ boot for street riding made of premium leather upper and it is 100% waterproof as well as breathable. The anti-slip rubber outsole has a molded heel protector and the molded toe and ankle reinforcement offer more protection. The dual stage entry system and the "Lock N Load" aluminum buckle and adjustable strap make sure it is on to stay. A jacket carries the same name. The Speed and Strength Motorcycle Boots family also has the Moment of Truth Shoe, which comes with perforated leather upper with the same anti-slip rubber outsole and molded heel protector, as well as the molded toe and ankle reinforcement. This is a lower cut than the Coast is Clear Boot, which is why it goes under the category of shoe instead of boot. It also does not claim to be either waterproof or breathable like the Coast is Clear does. This also has a jacket and gloves by the same name. Shift Racer Kicker Shoes have greater differences to protect your feet while extensively shifting. This protection has been incorporated with a shoe designed to enhance the ability to shift. The chassis is made of both genuine and synthetic leather for better stability and protection and for abrasion and impact resistance; it has lateral and medial plastic ankle protection. To give optimal traction during all riding conditions, it has a non-slip bonded sole. Additional grip and strength for shifting is accomplished by directly injecting rubber atop the toe box and the sole is reinforced for more strength on the foot peg. The right motorcycle boot will depend on the type of riding you are doing, each boot or shoe has special qualities to help you with that type of riding or give you added protection while doing that type of riding. Anyone who is doing more than one type of motorcycle riding, especially if any of it is racing, should pay special attention to the protection offered by each shoe or boot.
