So you've been invited to a housewarming party. Great! Now all you have to worry about is finding the right gift. There's nothing worse than showing up to a housewarming party empty-handed, so you'd better start planning on bringing the perfect gift to show your friend or neighbor how much you care. If your housewarming party hostess is throwing a party in the first place, chances are that he or she is the type who enjoys having people over regularly. Tabletop accessories can include small items like salt and pepper shakers, centerpieces, and napkin rings, to larger, more everyday items like flatware sets and pitchers. All in all, tabletop accessories is such a broad category, that you're sure to find some item that is gift-worthy under this umbrella. 2) Barware. Barware is always a great choice for a housewarming gift. Everyone could always use a good set of pint glasses, shot glasses, high-ball glasses, a shaker, liquor holders, etc. If you really want to impress your host or hostess with your gift, you can opt for an all-inclusive barware set that typically contains all kinds of glasses for various types of drinks. If you know your host or hostess isn't a big drinker, the glass set can also be used as regular drinking glasses. So in short, barware is a great housewarming gift. 3) Tea cup sets and a tea kettle. These make wonderful gifts for tea drinkers. There's nothing like sipping a nice cup of hot tea out of fine china tea cups. It's just so refined, and they look lovely when displayed in a china cabinet. Sets usually come with saucers, and sometimes, little stirring spoons. 4) A coffee or espresso maker. Either of these can make a great hostess gift if you know the host doesn't have one already. A coffee maker is something that even someone who is the occasional coffee drinker should have on hand. There's nothing worse than having coffee-drinking house guests over, and not having a coffee or espresso maker to accommodate them. 5) Cookware items. Some oven to table items can really be a hit with your host or hostess. There are even some really elegant items that allow you to cook and serve the items in one dish, which is very convenient for those busy households who really don't have time to make a big production out of dinner. Whatever gift you decide on, you're housewarming party host or hostess is sure to be delighted with it. Hopefully these gift ideas will help you in your quest for a great hostess gift.
