2 Exciting Pieces Of Technology For 2012

[Valid RSS feed]  Category Rss Feed - http://www.articlesbacklink.com/rss.php?rss=32
By : John King

Technology is consistently transforming and evolving and for that reason I'm generally interested to discover what's going to be of use and functional for me in the New Year. There are lots of new products and gadgets appearing on the scene but in amongst lots of gimmicks there could be some genuine technological nuggets.

I'm going to try to choose just two pieces of very current technology which will certainly perform an important role for me in the New Year ahead.

1. My initial choice is IPTV. IPTV has been playing an increasingly important part in a great many aspects of our every day lives, frequently without us even appreciating that we are witnessing IPTV solutions. With the advent of smart TV's, this technology is currently showing up inside our homes with all the elegant and appealing possible choices it comes loaded with. You may already be aware that this technology is at the heart of products such as BBC's online iPlayer but luckily you can now have a similar state-of-the-art facilities in your own lounge.

Smart TV's are a mixture of an advanced computer system and a high specification television set. You are able to stream your most desirable movies directly into your lounge, so no longer will you be needing to stress about returning DVDs to the rental store. You can also browse the web from your TV as well as run a variety of apps in the same manner we have become accustomed to on our smart phones. This is the superb blend of the numerous things that are necessary in our modern-day lives into a single handy, smart bundle.

2. Another item of increasingly accepted technology that I love is a mobile repeater system. A mobile repeater is quite simply a system to enhance the signal and therefore the reception of mobile devices in poor reception areas. These poor areas might be office developments with deep concrete walls, basement locations, properties with many steel beams or just the inconvenience of an extremely rural location. Mobile repeaters work like a Television aerial in that they provide amplification to the mobile phone signal, therefore delivering cellular coverage exactly where it otherwise had not been possible. As you can imagine it is important for most businesses to provide their office staff with a respectable cellular signal and hence this technology is increasingly in demand.

It is certainly challenging to only choose two pieces of existing technology that will have a major impact over the coming year but for me the 2 in this article are my present favourites. Now I'm off to surf the web on my TV!
