For a newly-married couple, building a house is part of establishing ones stability and building a family. A house symbolizes the union and a home represents the relationship that each of the members contribute. As a line of a song goes, a house is not a home without you. First thing to consider in building your own house is your budget. Money is a big factor in choosing the theme of the house and the materials that will be used for every part of it. If I were to choose a theme with a budget that is enough to utilize a 200 square meter area, I would go for a country house or a minimalist modern house. The structure of the house is mostly of wood that brings the earthen feel. A wooden and country theme entails a big budget as timber is expensive. Timber maybe costly but it would surely project the theme you wanted. A major expense for that matter is on using hardwood flooring, because flooring would occupy about 90% of the whole area of the house. Hardwood flooring may vary in types; such that of ash that gives a light texture of grain. This type of hardwood flooring is the most popular for its beauty and strength. Another type is made of bamboo; it is considered as the most affordable because this type of plant can be harvested anywhere. The next type may be of soft characteristics but comes with a beautiful appearance is the floor type made of birch. Another very popular option is a hardwood flooring made up of maple. Maple floors give a light color. But if you would go for a dark colored feature of floor, the oak hardwood flooring is the answer. Aside that it is affordable; this would project beauty and strength. This little information on the type of hardwood flooring for country houses or houses with wooden themes would give you an instant guide. As for my dream house, a combination of maple, ash and oak hardwood flooring would be a personal choice. The living room area and the dining room would have maple hardwood floors. The bedroom on the other hand will have the ash hardwood flooring to soothe the eyes as the bedrooms are your haven in the house. And as for the kitchen, it would surely have the most sturdy oak hardwood floor that can withstand heavy appliances and fixtures. Flooring may be of emphasis in building a house, as that a great home starts with a good base and foundation.
