When you go out on a hot day, are you embarrassed that your shirt will be soaking in your own sweat? Or do friends comment on how much you smell because your body gives off excessive sweat? If you do, then here are 6 simple tips to stop sweating instantly!

1. Do not wear artificial or synthetic clothing

Artificial or synthetic clothing can make you sweat much more profusely than normal natural fibre clothing. This is because synthetic clothing does not allow your skin to breathe. If your skin does not allow you to breathe, your skin will active sweat glands to help open up the pores in your skin. Natural fibre like wool does not do this to your skin. So to combat this, always wear clothes that come from natural products like wool or cotton, not material like polyester or nylon.

2. Wear anti-perspirants

Anti-perspirants help to stop your glands from producing sweat. There are many anti-perspirants on the market right now, but the most effective anti-perspirants are ones that contain silver in it. Silver is an active ingredient that instantly stop your glands from activating. It is also important to know that if you put too much anti-perspirants, you can cause chronic drying of the skin. This can lead to cracking and bleeding if you do this. So only apply when needed.

3. Rub lemon juice

One of the most effective and natural ways to stop sweating is to rub lemon juice on affected areas such as your arm pit and under arms. Lemon juice helps to deactivate sweat glands and it also helps to produce a nice lemony smell on your body.

4. Have a shower at least twice a day

Too much dirt, grime and left over sweat can clog up your glands and skin pores. When your skin is clogged up with this grime, it makes your body to perspire even more. So to prevent this from happening, you should at least have a shower twice a day.

5. Wear less clothing

The less clothing that you wear, the lower your body temperature will be. When you have a lower body temperature, you will perspire much less.

6. Drink green tea

Green tea is a great way to stop you from perspiring. This is because traditional chinese medicine believe that if you drink lots of green tea, you help your body to cool down. This is because tea dampens your fire chi. So if you feel that you are perspiring a lot, a nice cup of green tea will help you!
