Are you wondering why your online marketing efforts are not working? Frustrated with your results so far? Then take some time to read this article, this could change the way you think about online marketing, and send you on the road to success.

The failure rate when people go into the world of online marketing never ceases to amaze me; recent reports say that the failure rate is around 97%.

That means that almost every person that goes online, and gets involved with a home based business, or work from home opportunity is doomed to fail.

The vision of running a business from home, not having to answer to anyone is the the attraction, on the other hand, the real truth arrives when they realise it is a little more complicated, and more commitment is required.

The benefits that a typical person investigating online marketing would find attractive.

Independence is to be considered when you are employed you are limited. The next thing to take into consideration, is your able to organise vacations to suit yourself, and your family, and not when your employer wants you too. These are just a few issues I am sure there are many more.

So why is there such a high failure rate?

If you are looking for a straightforward answer, specialist's state success in this profession depends on the individual, and to how determined they are to succeed, and the time factor involved in achieving this.

If you study the 3% that are enjoying success in the field of online marketing their opinion would be, it is a very highly skilled profession that is totally underrated plus, should be treated with the same respect as any profession.

For example; accountants, solicitors, doctors, dentists, they say you would not expect to get a job as a dentist unless you have learnt how to pull teeth, you cannot represent somebody in a court of law unless you qualified, no more than you can present accounts to the inland revenue without qualifications.

So why would they expect to succeed by falling for the many get rich schemes that appear online on a daily basis.

A further consideration is, the amount of web sites that are added to the internet every day, it is a fact most web masters are struggling for visitors, and why, it's a bit like throwing a party and forgetting to send out the invitations, by not learning the profession to online marketing, this is why experts say the failure rate is so high.
