We all need a time away from others so we can think properly and get a different perspective on how we can tackle our problems. Here are a few common places people go to for their solitude. In Your Room When we are younger we often share a house with other people - often friends or family but not a room, which means we have a place where we can go where we are on our own. Of course, when we marry we often share that room as well and therefore we often designated various rooms in the house where we can have that peace to think. Under A Tree A well-kept tree is often a place of beauty but can also aid us with our thoughts as they turn carbon dioxide into oxygen meaning our brains are better fed and are better able to function effectively. Of course, if we have a tree that we go to in the summer we may often need somewhere in the winter as sitting on damp ground that is often cold isn't necessarily conducive to the thought process. If the tree is well maintained, perhaps with the help of a tree surgeon or another specialist, it can be a wonderful place to return to each year in the warmer months, however. On A Walk Going for a walk is another time where we can think for ourselves and take advantage of some fresh air. Of course, if it's cold it can sometimes be unpleasant, and we tend to solve more problems when we are in the countryside, faced with great beauty that inspires us to imagining new ways to overcome life's challenges. Enthusiasm is further generated by the endorphin rush we get when we go for a walk. When Reading Reading a decent book that is compelling and stimulating not only provides us with a great escape but also a fantastic way to think up new ways to overcome our own challenges in life that we face. We can spend hours on this very private activity that inspires and entertains us and was one of the very few entertainments available to people in days gone by, when television and computers hadn't been imagined, never mind invented. As you can see there are plenty of ways and plenty of places we can go to escape the company of others and enjoy our own company and think uninterrupted.
