Without rejection or failure, a successful person won't be where they are now. We all go through that circumstance at one point or the other. Whenever we fail we must find out what went wrong during the last attempt and fix it at the next attempt and try to see if that will work. Success means that you have to keep on trying and failing until you get to the formula to do it right this time. This is what I have learnt as a business coach. If it's true that success is simple to achieve, why aren't we all successful? Remember that to be successful, it is imperative to brush yourself off after every failure and try again. There are other people that fear the prospect of failure and its consequences. Below are just a few tips given by a career coach on how to turn things around when you experience failure. You must first change the way you think about failure. It's just a matter of changing old beliefs into new ones. The first ever step to success is dealing with failure and rejection. Learn to become stronger in an emotional aspect. People stop trying because for them, the taste of failure is too hard to take. It takes a lot of emotional strength to withstand failure. Next, know that emotional expression is good. It is alright to stay a few days in bed, cry or to feel down. But do not forget that these emotions will pass. We must learn how to release these emotions rather than suppress them. And last but not the least, keep on going. It can't be put any other way. You need to go through it several times to find out what is it you're doing wrong until you finally get it right. According to a business coach, rude feedback, harsh criticisms and painful rejections are all building blocks to achieving your goals. Success is all about understanding that these things are a normal part of the price you pay for success. This is not going to be easy and it requires a lot of patience, perseverance, and hard work. But remembering all of these things, we could become persistent reaching success in our lives!
