This time is pretty much upon us yet again. Oscar time. It would appear that no quicker are we criticising or appreciating the garments donned at the awards ceremony, they are packed up away or returned to the generous manufacturers who've so kindly loaned these to the hopeful recipients of the honours. The red carpet, home to the feet of lots of famous people in the past, is rolled out again plus the entire world waits with bated breath to see what delights are in store this year. Just Remember Bjork's well known swan dress in 2001? That was observed as one of the biggest faux pas ever. Rather than looking classy in this bright white creation, adding an egg bag made it appear an even bigger mistake. Then there's Gwyneth Paltrow's booboo ( forgive the pun! ). Very unattractive and VERY translucent! Somebody ought to have informed her that she definitely required a bra with that dress. Cher, way back 1988 very nearly wore a dress! Actually she pretty much wore just her bra and pants! The black coloured transparent outfit was incredibly adventurous, even for her. One wonders what this coming year will have in store. The papers and mags are very well prepared to provide somebody a hard time over their selection of outfit. The first thing you can be sure of, is that there'll be a lot of bling. Famous People would be dripping in jewels, loaned directly to them by the important jewellers with guards on stand by at every turn. You'll encounter millions of pounds worth of gemstones, rubies, sapphires and emeralds on necks, wrists and hands everywhere you go. Because the international press is going to be there photographing everyone of them it's actually a useful kind of promotion. It is no surprise the Oscar nominees are vying to find the best gems. There are many items of jewellery currently available that appear to be similar to the real thing. Take the Shamballa bracelet that everyone that is anybody is sporting. An attractive item of jewellery that on the untrained eye, appears to be just about every bit as amazing as the real thing, but with no risk element. They come in a lot of colours from silver to black with a full selection in between. You can purchase these with glimmering disco balls or maybe simple hemetite beads. Guys can wear them in addition to ladies and one size fits all, due to the versatile system that tightens them. An incredible, beautiful item of fashion jewellery and therefore the wonderful gift idea for Valentine's, a birthday or anniversary, or maybe a trip to the Academy Awards. The untrained eyes quite likely could not have the ability to identify the difference between them and the real thing!
