Do you suffer from irritation and inflammation of the skin? Have you tried everything to treat eczema but nothing worked? Then here are 7 simple ways to treat eczema effectively.

1. Apply oatmeal to the affected area

One of the most natural and effective ways of treating eczema is using cold oatmeal to the skin. Oatmeal is one of the best ways to treat eczema because oatmeal instantly stops the inflammation occurring on the skin. It also helps reduce your body’s histamine levels which causes irritation.

2. Avoid using perfumes, deodorants and anti-perspirants

Perfumes, deodorants and anti-perspirants will increase severity of eczema. They are known to cause chronic inflammation and irritation on the skin. So if possible, avoid using these products. If you do smell, then a quick shower will help solve your problem.

3. Apply moisturising lotion

Whenever you feel that your skin is starting to dry or get itchy, then this is a sign that your eczema is starting to flare up. In this case, a quick application of moisturising lotion like sorbolene can instantly stop skin conditions from flaring up.

4. Have a shower twice a day

A build up of dirt, sweat and grime can exacerbate eczema. Therefore, to prevent from it happening, you should have a shower at least twice a day to remove any dirt, sweat or grime on your skin.

5. Anti-histamine tablets

Irritation and redness of the skin is due to a rise in histamine levels in your skin. If you reduce histamine levels, you can stop this deadly skin condition in its tracks! You can simply reduce histamine levels by taking anti-histamine tablets which are easily available at your local supermarket or chemist cheaply.

6. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day

Believe it or not, exercise will significantly get rid of eczema. This is because when you exercise, you help improve your body immune system which in turn stops you this skin condition instantly. At least 30 minutes of exercise is the minimum amount to have a positive effect on your immune system to fight this condition. One of the best exercise for this condition is running which will keep your skin in top healthy condition!

7. Eat less meat, but eat more fruit and vegetables

When you eat meat, you increase the pH levels in your blood serum levels. This will trigger eczema. So to avoid that, you should eat more fruit and vegetables which will lower pH levels in your blood serum and hence stop this condition in its tracks!
