When it comes to espresso coffee some people are particular and some are not. I happen to be one of those "types" who has to have their espresso just so and for that reason, I was very particular when it came to buying my first espresso machine. I just know that a lot of them are cheaply made and don't stand up well to daily use. However, when I consistently came across positive consumer reports about the DeLonghi ESAM3300 magnifica espresso machine, I knew that I'd finally found the espresso machine for me.
The DeLonghi ESAM3300 Magnifica espresso machine is really one of a kind in the crowded arena of coffee machines. The DeLonghi ESAM3300 does everything from grinding the beans to keeping your cup warm after it is brewed. Basically all you have to do is turn on the timer and let the machine do the rest.
The DeLonghi ESAM3300 magnifica espresso machine makes a great cup of coffee because unlike many other espresso machines, it doesn't grind the beans until it is actually time to brew. So, you will never be in a situation where you're making coffee with stale beans, and after your coffee is brewed, the heated tray keeps it hot until you are ready to drink it. The DeLonghi ESAM3300 also comes with a timer so if you forget to turn it off when you leave in the morning, it will do so by itself. My only complaint, and it is a monor one, is that whilst the machine turns itself off automatically (frankly, a good feature) there is no auto turn on, so in the morning you have to wait around for a minute or two whilst it warm itself up. The cup warmer also turns off with the machine. It would be nice if this could stay turned on for a little longer. This machine can also squirt a little water out as you turn it on and off so it's advisable to keep a cup or milk container nearby.
You could certainly buy a cheaper espresso maker, but you would not find one with half the features of the DeLonghi ESAM3300 espresso machine. This machine looks fantastic in my kitchen, does not take up a lot of space, and feels so solid and sturdy that I know it will last for years. I highly recommend the DeLonghi ESAM3300 Magnifica for people such as me, who are very particular about the freshness of their coffee in tehe morning.
