One worry among the traveling public is finding transportation at their destination. They wonder if they will have to rent a car, how bad the traffic is, what if they get in an accident with the rented car? When flying to any major city, one doesn't need to have any of these worries. Most have public transportation, and some of the highest ranked taxi cab service on earth. Taxis can get you anywhere you need to go in a jiff, saving you both time and money. If you don't believe this is true, watch as the more experienced passengers disembark your plane, grab their luggage and hop a taxi to their destination. No one likes to look like a tourist, so be smart and hop an airport taxi your next trip. You may think that subways and buses are cheaper than taxis, but with the wait times, and other inconveniences that go along with buses and subways you will be wishing you had taken a taxi. Not to mention, in order to get from the outskirts of any city to the airport you would need to take a bus and two trains. With time delays on both you might have to spend five hours before you can even see the airport. Not to mention the problems if you miss any of these connections. With an airport taxi, the work is done for you. No more connections, no more fighting for a seat, just relax and tell the driver where you need to go. No backtalk, no inconvenience, and best of all comfy seats, are all the perks of using a taxi. These pluses are all on top of the most important factor, safety. The drivers go through a rigorous training period before they are allowed to commute, and all come from driving backgrounds. Reputable companies employ former truck drivers, delivery men and postal workers, all men and women from a field that requires timely results. In their former line of work the job isn't over until the package is delivered safely and quickly, and they bring that attitude to work with them. Not to mention safety of other passengers. Did you know that in 2008 a passenger of a Greyhound bus was decapitated by another passenger in his sleep? Now is more than ever the time to use airport taxis for their privacy and their security. The event mentioned previously probably never would have happened in a taxi. Taking the family to see the sights in the downtown? Perhaps you'll want to enjoy a show or two and visit some great museums. Be sure to call ahead and ask about advance rates, so that you can take a cab to the show. You can do it all economically and effortlessly by using a speedy taxi to get you to where you're going. Major cities also have great dining, so after the show, enjoy a fine meal with your family, then call it a day and hail a cab to get back to your hotel.
