If you are anxious to find the real you or the old you underneath those wrinkles, sagging skin, age spots, and old acne scars, it may be time to consult a Chicago cosmetic surgeon. This version lifts the skin away from the tissue and then a tube is inserted through which excess fat is drained. These procedures work well to get rid of jowls, deep wrinkles around the mouth, and deposits of fat on the neck. A photo facial treatment can help minimize the appearance of those wrinkles and fine lines that sneak up on use as we age. They usually appear around the eyes and mouth. This procedure can also successfully fade acne scars, brown spots from the sun, and broken blood vessels. It may also shrink large pores and decrease red, blotchy areas on the face. Photo facial is done with a machine that emits light pulses that can easily penetrate the skin and trigger collagen as well as the blood vessels to create new skin cells. It normally takes six treatments for the before results start to show. The lines and wrinkles will slowly disappear after the treatments are complete. The only side effect is usually a slight redness that lasts just a few days. For someone with a lot of damage from the sun and deeper wrinkles, a skin resurfacing procedure is the best way to go. These procedures are done with a laser to remove the outer layers of skin. After the procedure, the collagen beneath completely reforms the skin so that it is tighter and smoother. There are a variety of different types of lasers that can be used to ablate the skin. A laser called a Sciton does the job with less heat and a quicker recovery time. The procedure leaves this skin red and sensitive but patients are normally able to use makeup within one week. A treatment like this can give great results for those who have deposits of extra fat that make certain parts of the body appear out of proportion to the rest of the body.
