Let You and Your Skin Enjoy the Sun and the Outdoors

Who wouldn't want to enjoy under the sun? Basically, nobody would want to hide from the sun forever. Unless, of course, if you are Edward Collins or Count Dracula. The sun helps the body produce Vitamin D. So go out and have fun under the sun. But don't go out yet. Before you frolic under the sun, be sure to follow the next simple steps to maintain that beautiful skin while enjoying the outdoors.

The sun is strong normally from ten in the morning to four in the afternoon. Try to have indoor breaks during this time to avoid damaging your skin. Other than this time, it is safer to go out, but still use a sunscreen. When out in the sun, try to use a sunscreen with at least SPF (sun protection factor) 15. If you are sweating a lot, reapply the sunscreen every 3 hours. Some sunscreen are waterproof, however, don't let it fool you. It is better to be sure and makes your skin safe.

Try to use sunglasses and hats if possible. Sun can also damage the eyes, not just the skin. It can also add up to eye problems. Make sure that the sunglasses give 100% protection from ultraviolet rays. If you have acne medications or using pills for birth controls, it can increase the sensitivity of your skin from the sun. If you are taking any of these medications, double up your protection from the sun. You can have some kind of best skin care tips for having healthy skin.

If you are in the water or in the snow, wherever that has reflections, try to use sunscreen with higher SPF. Or if higher SPF irritates your skin, try to use more sunscreen. Reflective surfaces doubles up the intensity of ultraviolet rays, If you are after tanning, the reason why you want to stay under the sun, or wants to use the service of tanning beds, just for the sake of glow of the tan, use a self tanner or go to a tanning salon for treatments.

Tanning beds contains the same intensity and harmful effects of the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Enjoying the sun is not a bad thing, though. What is not good is to forsake the safety of your skin for the enjoyment of the sun. Let your skin enjoy the goodness of the sun by applying sunscreens so that you can also enjoy.
