Do not make the mistake of not seeking any help or treatment. If you do this, you are not going to get the money you should get from the insurance company. They will take the stand that you can't obviously be in all that much pain since you aren't seeking treatment. Basically, you can't sit by and wait to receive a cash settlement to get the help - even if money is tight. Start getting help right away. Plus, you will need the expert opinion in order to win your case against the insurance company or the person that caused the accident.
If you want to continue to follow up with your MD, you can do that, but you should not skip out on the chiropractic doctor. If it makes you feel better, go to both.
