Cloud hosting has been around for a few years now but it looks set to really become popular now. There are those who have been concerned about data security but this has not proven to be as much of a risk as was anticipated. As it has become apparent that the benefits far outweigh the risks it is likely that there will be a much greater shift toward its use. Here are some of the top reasons to choose a UK cloud host. There is the worry that your data might not be as safe if it is not stored on your own dedicated server that you control. In reality your information might actually be much more secure when you are using cloud hosting because more resources are dedicated to security and it is much more actively managed. In the UK however you have the added benefit of the most advanced legal framework to protect your data. They also offer data recovery in the event of a major system crash. It is very unlikely that information can be easily lost because it is generally duplicated in at least 9 different locations but at least you will have the assurance that this problem will actually be taken care of since you don't have direct access to do it yourself. Not only will a company benefit from not having to invest in their own infrastructure but the number of IT professionals they will have to employ will be drastically reduced. Cloud hosting is much easier to control and UK service providers even offer various options for OS, control panels and virtualization. All in all you will save money, time and effort.
