The Best Value in a Martial Arts DVD

The term martial arts is one that is in fact quite loose. It would take a very long time to go through every single type of martial arts as they are all so different and unique from one another. So if you are looking into purchasing a martial arts DVD, you should be aware of exactly what you are looking for. Unless you are planning on dedicating your life to martial arts, it might not be the best thing for you. If you are like most people you just want to learn some self defense strategies. Although martial arts can in fact be an excellent form of self defense, it can take years to master the often complex moves that comprise it. Also, physical training and fitness is of utmost importance.

But if you just want to learn how to defend yourself, then a martial arts DVD is probably the best way to go. Chris had his own brush with death back in 1997 and has since dedicated his life to helping other's overcome such violent situations. As he was recovering from chemotherapy and his body was weak, he and his wife were viciously attacked by knife-wielding criminals. It was only through sheer luck that the police arrived and saved their lives. But ever since that day, when Pizzo couldn't defend himself or his wife, he decided on a new life mission.

This mission brought him to all corners of the world. He wanted to learn every possible thing he could about martial arts and self defense. He noticed that each style had its own merits as well as its flaws. Some strategies are good for standing up fighting, but not so great on the ground. And the other way around. This was by far the single most effective and simple way of defending yourself. Ever since then, he was become a spokesperson and has developed a series of different types of martial arts DVD's to help bring the word to others.

The beauty of this type of fighting is that anyone can learn it. It is not dependent on size or skill level at all. No matter how big or how small you are, you can learn how to properly defend yourself against a violent attack with these simple strategies. And with a martial arts DVD, you can learn at your own pace, and at your own schedule. Many people actually find this to be the best way to learn, because they don't have to be in a big gym with a bunch of strangers, worried about what others may be thinking. You can shut the blinds, turn on the DVD and start learning instantly. Before you know it, you it, you'll be walking down dark alleys at night without even flinching.
