For antique shoppers, there are many cars for sales in today's market. Collectors love to display their vehicles from the 1960s, 1950s or even before that. These vehicles are classy, stylish and fun to look at. They are also fun to drive. Vehicle models have evolved over time so it is often interesting to view the original designs. There are a great many varieties to select from with a used car. Ford Mustangs and Ferraris are very popular with collectors as they are flashy and very sporty cars with a lot of history attached to them. The vintage 1964 Ford Mustang is one of the favorites for car enthusiasts. The Ferrari is a lightning quick sports car that can run in excess of one hundred seventy-five miles per hour. People love it for its sleek design and its incredible speed. While it has not been the most successful model on the professional racing circuit, it is an extremely quick vehicle. Another popular car is the Dodge Charger. While not as sporty as a Ferrari, this "muscle" car is actually even faster. A well tuned Charger can max out at around two hundred miles per hour. These are well liked cars again for people who crave speed. Either the Charger or the Ferrari makes a good choice for drivers interested in achieving high speeds. The Charger has been a successfully drive vehicle on the NASCAR circuit. Other popular racing models include the Plymouth Belvedere and the Dodge Daytona Charger. NASCAR races are a great showcase for fast models of cars. Many of these cars have been on the racing circuit since World War II. Two cars that have names that are synonymous with luxury are the Jaguar and the Porsche. While the Porsche looks faster, the Jaguar actually has the stronger engine of the two models. Both are very popular with car collecting enthusiasts, both for their design and their legendary speed on the road. These are attractive and powerful models that are sporty and exciting to drive and to look at. There are some enthusiasts that will form a club for discussing collecting ideas and theories. For the people that take this hobby that far, this is a wonderful way to meet like-minded people. Most people collect vehicles that are obsolete or in most ways considered to be off the market or a rarity. Usually these are older models, but sometimes they are newer as well. It is these clubs that are the backbone of the collecting movement. You can find a club if you look in classic magazines. They may also advertise cars for sale. There are also events for this type of collecting which is a great resource for finding clubs. Most of these clubs have specialist insurance brokers who know the collecting business. Of course, it is critical to obtain insurance if you buy a classic model or any vehicle, for that matter. It not only protects your investment, but it is required by law to do so.
