Commemorating a special activity that includes group participation is always a bit difficult since it is hard to find a gift that works for everyone. One option to consider is a gift of charms, either with a bracelet or separately, allowing each team or group member to design their own collection of charms on their individual bracelet. Charms for groups can really include everything from those training for a particular type of competition or event to those that belong to the same social group. Since most women enjoy wearing jewelry and charms are so popular, this is an outstanding combination. The first key step is to make sure everyone has a charm bracelet. Ideally everyone can choose either silver or gold and then corresponding silver charms or gold charms can be added as additions to the bracelet. The other option is to choose a two-tone bracelet or go with all gold or all silver, all options work equally well. Often the group leader or coordinator can start off the collection of charms or even put together a group of charms based on what the group is all about. This can include training, symbols, messages or other specific representations of the organization or group. For sports teams starting a charms collection may be easier that you think. Consider icons that represent the sport such as balls, bats, rackets or even cleats and other specialized types of equipment. Trophies and miniature awards charms are great to celebrate individual or team achievements. Groups that are training to compete in relays and marathons together will all love to have matching charms and bracelets to celebrate their training achievements. You may want to consider charms of running shoes, positive messages and encouragement and even smaller runners as part of the collection of charms. Sororities or groups of women that are working on specific charity events or community based programs can also commemorate their accomplishments with a collection of charms. Charms that show dollar amounts raised, people helped or even specific community activities will all be much appreciated. One of the wonderful features of these types of group collections of charms is that each member of the team, group or organization will have a coordinating bracelet but it won't necessarily be the same as any other. Group members can even give each other charms to add to their bracelets, really making it a special and memorable piece of jewelry.
