Boasting a rich and varied nightlife scene, the city of London is undoubtedly one of the best places to party in all of England. The metropolis is comprised of numerous different districts, each offering their own distinct entertainment options. Checking into one of the cheap hotels London is the perfect way to get the most out of the party scene here.

Lovers of live music will find plenty of places to listen to their favorite tunes in the capital of England. Solo performers and bands can be heard in bars and pubs all over the city. There are also several large stadiums in the city, where bands travel from all over the globe to entertain thousands of adoring fans.

The range of nightclubs in the city is simply stunning. Visitors who like to dress impress and gyrate to tunes spun by acclaimed DJs will really be in their element here. However, there are also plenty of smaller, darker and considerably less glamorous venues available for people to take their pick from.

The Solo district is among the most colorful areas of this interesting metropolis. While this is the heart of the gay scene, straight couples are also welcome here. Most of the largest establishments are extremely vibrant, making this the perfect place to really run wild. Located in the north of London, Camden has long been associated with the party scene. Many of the bars and pubs here support live music, especially at weekends. There are also several large nightclubs here, where the music is loud, vibrant and geared towards the alternative scene.

The nightclubs in the Shoreditch area are particularly lively. One of the most famous venues here is Fabric, which plays choice drum and bass tunes. The nearby Hoxton and Farringdon areas are also home to a selection of renowned house, trance and drum and bass DJs. Mayfair is a great place to see and been seen, as many upmarket clubs in London are located here. The most exclusive venues are often frequented by the stars and can be rather tough to get into. However, those who are lucky enough to get onto the guest list of venues such as China White and Funky Buddha are sure to have a blast as they dance up a storm long into the night.

People who enjoy live theatre will also find plenty of places to play in the capital. World famous musicals such as Cats and Mama Mia have been entertaining audiences here for many years. Highbrow performances are also held at many of the metropolis theatres, and discount tickets can often be scored on the day at the ticket offices in Leicester Square. After an evening of partying hard, visitors will be able to return to their pick of hotel Kings Cross to unwind for a while. However, those who want to continue drinking will be able to spend a little time propping up the hotel bar. Room service is usually available, and is an excellent option for people who plan to make their own private party after things wind down.
