I find cleaning to be an absolute bore. Our house has several large rooms and whilst they're great for hosting events, cleaning them is a constant headache. It takes ages to get them done and as a busy mom of three, I really struggle to find the time. So I did some research on the iRobot 610 Roomba Professional Series - noting its versatlity and its reputation for cleaning by itself - and decided to give it a go. It seemed the perfect cleaning choice because it would allow me to multi-task when it came to cleaning the house. If you have a large area, the iRobot 610 Roomba Professional Series can save a lot of time. While it takes time to sweep, mop, or vacuum by hand, this vacuum will do it all by itself. Select either the clean mode, max mode, or spot mode and then start, and the vacuum will start tackling all the dirty spots in the room. It's hard to get to every place in a room, and it's equally difficult to have to move couches or beds to get underneath them. I really like how the vacuum can slide underneath beds, couches or other difficult areas to reach. It removes the dirt on the floor, but its spinning side brush takes care of gathered debris along baseboards and corners. The sturdy bristle brush goes deep into carpet fibers to remove dirt, and the fine filter trap grabs dust and pollen. From my experience of using the iRobot 610 professional series thus far, I'd have to say that it will keep a room clean more consistently, and if you have someone with allergies in your house, it will also help to keep the dust down to a minimum. Its biggest drawback is that it can't clean continuously like an electric vacuum. It will do its work whilst the battery is charged but once it's depleted it will need to be recharged. The vacuum also requires a certain amount of cleaning, which means taking apart brushes, front wheel and dust bin. This has to be done each time, which can be an annoyance. Whilst a little time is needed to keep the vacuum clean (it needs to be taken apart each time) I've found the overall time saved by using iRobot 610 Roomba Professional Series to be a real godsend!
