Argentinean Fabian Perez has become a superpower in the art world following his recent high profile collaborations.

The artist from Buenos Aires joined forces with two international events to showcase his work and has seen his stock rise as there has been a growing global demand for artwork such as Fabian Perez prints.

Fabian Perez was named as the official artist of the tenth Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2009 and his artwork was used as the official image for the event's invitations, show tickets, posters, programme books and much more.

The art is housed in the museum at the Latin Recording Academy of Arts and Science and was highly praised by Latin Recording Academy President Gabriel Abaroa.

Mr Abaroa said: "We are excited to have an artist with such understanding and enthusiasm for Latin culture and its music. Fabian's timeless artwork is filled with energy and emotion. His piece brings a human element to our artwork."

Fabian Perez was also on hand to present Juan Gabriel, the 2009 Latin Grammy Awards Person of the Year, with a portrait which was created in his honour.

Robert Bane, CEO of Fabian Perez Art Publishing, said that the exposure afforded to the artist had led to an increase in enquires about Fabian Perez prints from art lovers from all around the world.

Following Fabian Perez's success at the Grammys, the South American was commissioned by the U.S. Olympic committee to create images for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Some of the works that Perez created were entitled Five Continents One World and In God's Hands, which were described as atmospheric and emotive.

Fabian's fans in Britain have been able to view his artwork in previous years as the Argentinean jetted from his home in California to promote his latest collections in various galleries across the UK.

Art consultant Marcela Hunderova told this is Gloucestershire that it was a great honour for Whitewall Galleries in Cheltenham to exhibit Fabian Perez prints because of the artist's global reputation.

She told the publication: "Fabian's paintings are quite seductive and beautiful. He came to the gallery last year and we had people queuing up to see him. He's a real Hollywood star but very down to earth."

Fabian Perez prints have been influenced by the artist's childhood and the death of his parents at an early age.

"I am inspired by my father, my country and women who can seduce a man by simply lighting a cigarette," he said.
