Self Defense The Chris Pizzo Way

When people hear about defending themselves they automatically assume that this relates to martial arts. While Karate and its like are noble art forms and no one should be discouraged from learning them, they really are not the ideal method of self defense. You see, a street fight can be brutal, sudden and short. Your attacker surprises you with a sucker punch or grabs you from behind and from then on all bets are off. Those techniques you learned in your martial arts class go out the window as you become desperately embroiled in a battle for survival. As a result, you need to learn moves taught by experts like Chris Pizzo if you want to have a fighting chance against an assailant.

Even martial arts experts themselves will generally agree that self defense should consist of quick, basic moves. This is something that Captain Chris teaches all those who watch his videos. Close Combat Training is the short, sharp self defense theory in practice and is extremely effective at ending assaults in your favor. If you're the victim of an attack, you will not have the time or be given the opportunity to execute one of the flashy high kicks you may have learned in a martial arts class or worse, seen on television. Even those who have decades of experience would never advocate such a maneuver in a street fighting situation.

Certainly the best thing about the program designed by Chris Pizzo is that it is easily learned. In the martial arts world, it is a well known fact that it takes several years of learning a particular form to perfect it. If you don't already know one of these forms are you going to risk spending a couple of years learning it in the hope that the mean streets become a little safer? Nowadays, even practitioners of martial arts cannot say that their techniques will be of any use when it comes to a face to face attack. So all of the moves you have learned over the years will count for nothing when some nut job comes after you with a broken bottle.

Luckily, Captain Chris is here to ensure that you are not put in this situation. Unlike so many other programs, his does not promise to turn you into a military standard killer overnight, but he will greatly improve your chances of coming out on top during a street attack. Let's face it, the vast majority of people have no idea how to react when they are the target of a violent assault. The number one option seems to be cowering in the corner and hoping that the thug will go away. Newsflash, this ain't going to happen. If someone is deranged enough to come after you randomly, do you really think they will leave you alone once you are helpless?

If you wish to know how to defend yourself in the above situation, then have a look at the program devised by Chris Pizzo. He is an expert in the field of hand to hand combat and his teachings could very well save your life one day.
