Strengthen Your Mind With Captain Chris

By : William Gabriel

At this point in time, everyone should know all about the physical side of the Close Combat Training program taught by Chris Pizzo. You know that his methods work fantastically well in close quarters combat and that the techniques are easy to master. Perhaps something that is lesser known and an issue that Captain Chris actually covers is the mental approach before and during a fight. Under his tutelage, you will be able to change your mental machinery. No longer will you be the prey. Instead, you will be the hunter. If a thug is stupid enough to confront you then your mental strength alone may be enough to see the attacker off.

You need to visualize certain situations in your mind. All the most successful professional fighters and athletes utilize this technique which Captain Chris can help you master. Those of you that think this is all a load of nonsense need to broaden their mind or else they will be missing out. When you visualize something, your imagination's power is used to picture any upcoming situation that you desire. Being relaxed is key in order to get this to work. Those at the top of any profession will tell you that at least part of their success has been because of visualization. In any case, 1-2% makes all the difference once you hit real elite status.

So how does this relate to fighting? Well, instead of visualizing winning the Olympic Games of the Stanley Cup, you can imagine what you will do when someone attacks you. If you have learned the moves of Chris Pizzo well, then these thoughts will be even better. Picture what will happen when they grab you from behind only for you to retaliate with a swift head butt or lock that will have them screaming. Picture the anguish on their face when they realize that they have picked the wrong person to mess with. Luxuriate in the feeling you will get when they scurry away like the little rats that they are.

Yes, by learning this technique taught by Captain Chris, you will be one looking confident walking the streets whilst others look nervously over their shoulders. It would be nice to tell them about the Close Combat Training program so that they too can be as confident as you. After all, the more people that can defend themselves, the more likely it is that thugs will disappear down the sewers or wherever they hang out. If you are the victim of an attack, then your mental strength should come to the fore. The attacker may well be perturbed by the fact that you are smiling and not cowering in terror. You may even find that they run away without throwing another punch because all thugs are cowards at heart. If met with the kind of resistance shown by those adept in the techniques of Chris Pizzo then they may just flee knowing that they picked the wrong target.

Don't let your demeanor mark you out as a victim, learn how to increase your mental strength and your physical abilities will follow suit.
