No matter how financially unfit you may feel you are today, you can turn your finances around. No matter how little money you make, or how big your bills seem right now, tomorrow can change everything. Lots of people have gone bust and started over. You can too. It all starts with believing in yourself and what you can do. Just remember that Donald Trump owed about $900 million in personal debt not too many years ago. He went under in the financial turmoil of the 1980s and had to do-yup, believe it-debt restructuring. He was belly up. But Trump never stopped believing in himself and his ability to make his goals and dreams come true. Today, Donald Trump is worth about $2.7 billion dollars. The trick that Trump teaches is to be passionate about what you do. Trump says that passion will continue to motivate you to get the dreams that you want. And if his own story is any evidence at all, he's right. So if you want to be debt free, get passionate about the process, and you will be-sooner than you might think. Here are some passion motivators to help you stay on your money track. Stick to it. Never give up. Just do it. One day at a time. Keep on truckin'. Whatever words of encouragement work for you, pen them on a sticky and put that sticky on your bathroom mirror. Read it out loud to yourself every day. Put your debts next to your words, and track them as you pay your debts down. Remember, nothing is completely hopeless. Be creative. Every day, find one new way to keep money in your pocket, or one new way to generate more money. It's a lot easier to find 10 ways to generate $1000 than one way to generate $10,000. But the end total's the same. Congratulate yourself. On saving money, paying down your debts, not relying on credit, and living on less in order to eventually have more. Stay away from friends who blow their money, and find time for the ones who live more modestly. You need people around you to help you struggle out of debt, not encourage you to incur more of it. Start a debt-support group in your neighborhood. Make it a competition, self-help group, or whatever gets all of you working together to succeed. Post signs around your neighborhood. You might be surprised who comes out of the woodwork. Debt doesn't need to be a millstone around your neck. Just ask Donald Trump. Then, go for it. Reach for the sky. Make Lemonade. Never say die. Climb that mountain . . . .
