Lose Weight and Feel Better

Obese people are more likely to face public criticism because of their size and weight, according to a study.

An investigation by Slimming World and YouGov revealed that nearly one in three morbidly obese people said that they have received condemnation by a complete stranger due to their appearance.

In addition, over half of obese people surveyed said that they thought victimisation of the overweight is more prevalent than ever before as recent reports stated that a London woman was attacked on a train after a passenger took exception to her size.

Jenny Caven, a spokesperson for Slimming World, said: "It's tragic that there is so much prejudice that people feel that it's acceptable to physically attack a stranger because of their weight."

Ms Caven went onto say that verbal abuse against obese people is increasingly common especially from strangers.

There seems to be little sympathy among the healthy weight population as one in four confessed to having criticised a stranger over their size and 61 per cent said they thought obese people 'only have themselves to blame'.

Ms Caven added: "The very last thing any overweight person needs is criticism and humiliation, which is why the results of this survey are so shocking."

Obese and overweight people can escape this vicious cycle of victimisation by losing weight through a healthy diet and plenty of exercise.

Researchers at the University of Liverpool discovered that weight loss products, such as t5 slimming pills and t5 fat burners, provide the most effective results in the long term when combined with a balanced diet and healthy exercise regime.

A weight loss supplement which was proven to increase metabolism and suppress appetite recently sold out three days after going on sale to the British public.

A product spokesperson said: "It is a discreet tablet which enables you to effortlessly lose weight without inhibiting your lifestyle.

"As we all know weight management basically comes down to making sure you don't consume more calories than you need."

MySupermarket.co.uk discovered that an increasing number of people are willing to buy slimming supplements, such as t5 fat burners, as a way to fight the flab.

The supermarket shopping and price comparison website also found that diet products, like t5 slimming pills, are most popular during June because people are more keen to achieve a desirable bikini body before the holiday season.

American chat show host David Letterman has recently been reported as saying that "slimming pills are the only way that you can lose weight in America."
