The average price for housing in the Vancouver metro area as of February 2010 was $662,741 Canadian dollars, or about $630,509 in U.S. dollars. It is always wise to contact a real estate agent in the area if you are in the market for housing. Because of the diversity of the neighborhoods and homes, many realtors specialize in small areas and specific building styles. Working with someone who knows your budget and style will help you find the home of your dreams. Whether a buyer or renter, the city has much to offer its potential residents.
