Creating Video Sitemap Guide for the Internet Marketer

Just like other types of content, videos must also be catalogued in sitemap files and submitted to Google for easy indexing and favorable ranking. Sitemaps are typically XML files that contain a list of all the files appearing on your website. These are effective tools that make it easier for Google to find all the pages in your site. You can create different sitemaps for various types of content like videos.

Step 3: Click on "Manage Players" for one of the supported formats such as flv, MP3, mov, wmv, and others.

Step 4: Upon selecting "Player to Edit", choose a video and click on the "View Player" button.

Step 5: Go to the bottom of the page where you will find "Javascript Code" and "HTML Code". Click on any one of these.

Step 6: Click the "Select Code" button and copy the content by pressing Ctrl-C if you're a PC user or Command-C if you're a Mac user. user.

Step 7: Back at the EZS3 video sitemap generator, simply paste the code you copied earlier to the Video Content location box.

After creating the video sitemap for your website, you'll then have to submit it to Google. It's a simple technique that works wonders on the search rankings of your website, something that Internet marketing experts also use to land on the top of search results.
