Different Entertainers You Can Hire For Parties

When organizing an event or party, you will need to decide on the correct entertainment option that suits the needs at hand. There are many choices out there - here are some ideas...

The next time you plan on hosting a party or event, why not consider some of these options to make your event extra special and keep your guests talking about your event long after its sell-by date:

Magicians

Magicians are ideal for any function. From the average card trickster to an illusionist, they will leave the audience spellbound and offer a great topic of conversation afterwards. Suitable for both children and adult parties, magicians are always a winning act.

Puppeteers, Clowns & Balloon sculptors

Children's party entertainers are in great demand. With choices such as puppeteers, clowns and balloon artists, the kids will be entertained for hours, allowing the adults to have some fun as well. Even better, find one that does a variety of different tricks. Boredom will never be a factor at this party.

Interactive drumming

An excellent ice breaker, interactive African drumming has taken South Africa by storm. Depending on the size of your event, each guest is provided with a Djembe and following the leader, your guests become one with the music and the rhythm. Since everyone can participate, this is also a very effective team building exercise.

Belly dancers

Bring some of the exotic to your next party. Tasteful, colourful and entertaining, belly dancers make for great entertainment and some acts even allow for the guests to get involved.

Comedians

Everyone loves a good joke. Bring some humour to your event and not only will you break the ice but you will have your guests smiling and laughing all night long. That said, from clean acts to slightly offensive (which as irony would have it, seems to appeal to more people) a comedian can make or break your event. Make sure that you choose the right one.

Musicians

Musicians covering all genres are always a big hit. From classical pianists and flutists to rock bands playing cover songs, you're sure to have a little something for everyone.

Caricaturist

Requiring neither easel, chairs nor art supplies, a caricaturist simply requires a clipboard, charcoal or pencil and walks around drawing cartoons of the guests. This provides some very light-hearted entertainment and offers your guests the opportunity of taking their own momento of the event home with them. This is certainly unique.

The truly wonderful aspect of hiring an entertainer is that there is very little fuss involved for you as the host. Simply book your entertainer of choice and let the party begin!
