Unfortunately, though, as companies invest larger amounts of money into products and services, there is more determination to recoup costs. This means that vendor products have very little interface. As host companies expand and improve platforms, they may also add useful and helpful applications to the existing base. Lients get the benefit of more powerful and helpful service for the money that is spent on the platform. Small businesses are especially able to benefit from the extra features. During the coming year, it is difficult to know precisely what will transpire in the technology. Clients are nearly certain to appreciate many of the expected improvements and enhancements from which they can select. Cloud computing and the use of this type of formation is likely to continue to expand. Hosting companies that are positioned to take advantage of this type of platform are sure to be in the forefront of revenues. Properly used, Cloud computing can save the money that will help to pay for service. Even smaller providers can get into the industry more easily. There is no question but that the downturn in the economy will affect the future of managed hosting. While there are new marketing concepts and ideas in the software, it is also true that more companies can enter the industry and become a provider of services. At the same time, there are new markets opening up in Third World countries. Knowing what can we expect from managed hosting providers in 2012 will vary according to the individuals providing the prognostication. However, it is expected that managed hosting will grow in scope and in numbers. Cloud computing will play a larger role, with larger platforms that are not necessarily interactive. New markets and new technology will help to reduce the effects of the economic downturn.
