With the financial problems that are occurring in the economy today, our world has become a place that makes it extremely hard for a single parent to stay above water taking care of their children, and continuously trying to maintain all of the responsibilities that have been placed on their shoulders. This is especially true when they have to deal with the added problem of an ex husband or wife that has been refusing to pay them a dime towards the unpaid child support that is owed. Even when these people have a judgment against them, there are several deadbeats that still will not budge an inch on accepting their part in the responsibility of supporting their children. It is possible however, to collect unpaid child support with what is known as an asset search that can make deadbeat parents pay their part in unpaid child support.

It is true that there are other services available today to try to make deadbeat parents pay, but more often than not, people end up having to wait several months and even years before anything is done, and in a large number of these cases they still do not receive any money towards the balance of child support that they owe. An asset search is not only a very effective type of investigation that can give parents an avenue to make deadbeat parents pay and help them to collect unpaid child support, but it is also a type of investigation that generally only takes a very short time to complete.

The first step that you should consider when this is a problem that you face is to consult with an expert that knows everything there is to performing these searches. Then, you will want to supply them with the deadbeat's full name, the address where they live, their social security number if possible, and their telephone number. Before you know it, you will be given a complete report that lists all of the assets that were found. An asset search is the perfect way to locate any type of assets that may be in the responsible party's name.

Some of the helpful information that you can obtain would include companies, real estate, bank accounts, hidden funds, trust accounts, investments such as mutual funds, stocks, and bonds, vehicles, boats, recreational vehicles, and a variety of other assets that have been put in the guilty party's name. This gives innocent victims a way to collect child support and make deadbeat parents pay!
