Health. Money can’t buy it, and it’s often listed as one of the most important things in life. In fact, it is life. If you’re unhealthy, then you are likely on your way out, if you know what I mean. Following these tips will make your general health improve, without a doubt. But the hardest part will be engraining this advice into your life, and making it habit. Trying some of these tips once or for a week won’t do much, but if you choose a few to stick with and follow through, you will undoubtedly see results. 1. Eat more fruits and vegetables: between 5 and 12 servings a day. You may say yeah right, but the more you eat, the better you will feel. 2. Exercise: at least 20 minutes every time, 3 days a week. Break a sweat to have more appetite and release endorphins in your brain crucial to happiness. 3. Have sex: and you won’t have to exercise! But don’t do it with too many partners, that undermines everything it’s about, and the chances of disease increase drastically. 4. Relax: too much stress can kill you early. Take half an hour each day to do something that you like – whether it’s playing piano or vegging out in front of the T.V. 5. Drink water: a lot. Like constantly, to make your skin look smooth and young, and to flush out toxins that can clog your body and weigh you down. 6. Stretch: your neck, your legs, whatever, before and after you exercise to make your body look longer and leaner. And even if you aren’t intent on exercising, stretching for 20 minutes will make you sweaty. 7. Love: the people who surround you. If you have a relationship in your life that doesn’t benefit you in some way (preferably mutually) cut it off. 8. Drink tea: High in antioxidants, a nice hot beverage can also help with #4. 9. Don’t worry: easier said than done. You can do it by thinking less about the future, or if you find yourself slipping into it, take a break from whatever you’re doing for five minutes with another activity, then settle down and do whatever it was you were up to before the worry monster visited. 10. Sunscreen: prevents skin cancer, and makes you look younger. The sun makes you tan, but it dries out your skin, and gives you wrinkles, especially if you’re fair. 11. Multivitamins: help to balance your diet with vitamins and minerals if you aren’t doing #1. 12. Avoid excess: whether it’s chocolate or alcohol, a medium is the best recipe for successful living. 13. Don’t smoke: it withers your lungs and makes you look old, and that’s just for starters. 14. Eat nuts: proven to lower cholesterol, nuts are a superfood packed with valuable energy, fats and proteins. Well, this should keep you busy. If you follow 4 of these 14 tips, I guarantee you will be happier, and healthier. And once you’ve mastered those few, keep on going!
