Bands usually have a set list and can also play some requests as long as the band has rehearsed the song in question. A good DJ will be able to play 99% of requests and also be able to adjust his or her playing style to suit the specific crowd in attendance. In other words a DJ will keep your guests happier for longer. When opting for a DJ, you'll ensure that your guests stick around for a greater portion of the evening. You're ensured of a successful evening that will live long in the memory of your guests. Be sure to do some research should you choose to go with a professional DJ. Find someone who can offer contactable references and testimonials.
