However, a 2009 survey by the Real Estate Staging Association accurately depicted what a difference improving your homes physical appeal makes. The group attempted to sell 126 homes, doing nothing to improve them visually. They averaged over 260 days on the market. The group then put in an effort to improve the visual appeal of those same 126 homes, and the average time on the market plummeted to 60 days. And finally, for best short sale help: use the internet!
