A Few Ways of Making Changes to Your Life and Environment Without Spending Money

Changing things in our lives costs money, so it seems to be. Whether you want a new look or a stretch fabric ceiling in your house, you're going to have to pay for it. Here are some to spruce up your life frugally.

DIY Exercise

Quite often all we need to feel better about ourselves is a great big endorphin rush and getting exercise is one of the easiest ways to do this. However, gyms can be expensive places to go, with memberships costing upwards of thirty pounds a month and commitments often stretching well beyond this.

Going for a run is an obvious way to beat the need to spend while getting the exercise you want. However, many people find running quite boring so setting yourself a goal, such as entering a 5km race can soon focus the mind.

If all those running based tips still don't work, however, then it may be better to accept that you'll need to exercise in a different way. Yoga is something that you only need a little bit of space to do, and while you could invest in a DVD you can find all the basic moves online to give your body and your mind a work out and recharge.

Slowly but surely, we are beginning to see more and more outdoor gyms in parks in the UK, and these are free to use. Of course, they can also be quite uncomfortable on a winter's day, so finding the right way to exercise for you is key to you continue to do so.

DIY Home Design

No matter how tastefully we have decorated our interiors and gardens, there is little doubt that a little change or improvement once in a while can really give a room a new lease of life. Redecorating, painting or even moving aren't cheap activities, however, so you'll need to think of changing things without dipping into your wallet.

One way to do this is by simply moving things around your home. Perhaps move a bed from side of the room to another or angle a coffee table in a different way.

If you're creative, and a bit of a dab hand when it comes to DIY then you're not just limited to moving furniture. A few planks of wood can easily be put together on a few bricks to create a funky table, for example.

So you see, there are plenty of ways to reinvigorate your life without killing your bank account.
