Why Rent a House Rather Than a Hotel Room on a Vacation Trip To Disney World?

A trip to Disney World is the culmination of a childhood dream for some, and a yearly ritual for others. This is not surprising, as the Orlando area is a veritable mecca of attractions, activities and entertainment that delights adults and children alike. While hotels in and around Disney World are plentiful, they are often less than ideal for families and groups. Many businesses are purchasing and building houses and condos to be used as vacation rentals in the area, offering visitors an option that is growing in popularity.

Homes for rent near Disney World provide greater privacy and more peace and quiet than hotel rooms. They are often far more spacious as well, and feature the comforts you are accustomed to at home. Full kitchens, separate bedrooms and even multiple baths mean that families and groups can stay together more comfortably, and everyone will enjoy having more room to stretch out and relax.

Rental homes found in and about Orlando run the gamut from simple to luxurious and elaborate. Some have features like spacious floor plans, luxurious furniture, state-of-the-art entertainment centers, private swimming pools, beautiful tropical landscaping and more. Many of these rentals are located close in to Disney World and other attractions, and some are within walking distance of shopping and dining as well.

Some of these vacation homes can be found situated within luxurious resorts that offer many of the amenities of large hotels, including swimming pools, hot tubs, exercise rooms, concierge service, and clubhouses with Internet cafes and arcades. In other words, many vacation rental resorts offer all the amenities of a hotel coupled with the privacy and space of a dwelling of your own.

Many may be surprised that homes close to Disney World can often be rented for around the same price as a hotel room (and may be cheaper if you have a larger group). In addition, having a full kitchen means that vacationers can save more money and have more healthful meals by eating in rather than going out for every meal. Plenty of cabinet and refrigerator space allows for having healthful snacks on hand instead of relying on expensive junk food out of the hotel vending machines.

While some still prefer the convenience of a hotel room on the Disney World grounds, more and more people are taking advantage of the comfort, practicality and reasonable pricing afforded by the many nearby Orlando vacation homes that are available for rent.
