Keeping It Simple With Gold Charms

Not everyone that loves to wear bracelets wants to have the very heavy, multiple charm types of bracelets that are often seen in fashion shows and displays. For those that like a simpler more streamlined type of bracelet there are several ways to still display your charms and stay in fashion. Gold charms on these simple bracelets need to be carefully selected to keep the bracelet elegant and rich looking.

Simple and elegant is the theme, so keeping to the single link chains can really enhance the style. Gold charm bracelets with toggle clasps and one large single gold charm are very striking with the simple chain style bracelets. The charms can be any style you like, but a larger charm gives a very dramatic presentation.

If you do wish to wear a few gold charms but don't want a great number, it is important to stay to three to five charms to keep the bracelet in balance. Odd numbers of charms will also space more regularly around the bracelet, ideal for smaller numbers.

Selecting these gold charms will be important since each one is going to be highlighted on the charm bracelet. Avoid a really heavy charm or one very light charm as this will cause the bracelet to look disjointed and also cause it to pull down over the heavier charms.

When fewer gold charms are on the bracelet, heavier or larger gold charms are a good idea with a heavier bracelet. You can even opt for the longer, dangling styles of gold charms that are in balance with the chain type of the bracelet.

For those that love the smaller, daintier charms there is also an option for a few gold charms on a bracelet. Stay with a lighter chain and avoid the wide and heavy looking gold chains that will look uncoordinated with light charms.

Small numbers of charms allow you to pick and highlight which gold charms you love the most. These charms are a way to tell people about what is important in your life and with just a few on the bracelet they are all sure to be easily seen.

Keeping your gold charm bracelet with a minimal amount of charms is perfectly acceptable and makes a wonderful way to show off your gold charms. These smaller bracelets are great to wear to the workplace or during the day, but they can also double up for evening wear as well. This style of bracelet is perfect for a gift, allowing the person to add her own charms as she develops her collection.
