It is difficult to find the perfect career and when you finally do it is certainly something to celebrate about. This was just the case with a friend of mine who managed to finally achieve her goals of becoming a fashion designer. To mark her first day at work I wanted to get her something really special that she could treasure for a long time, but also have the chance to wear everyday to remember me by and how appreciated I am of her friendship. Recently, while at a fashion show, I noticed that a lot of the designers were adding charms and gold bracelets to their models accessories, so I decided this would be a wonderful gift idea. At first I started looking through gold charms just to get an idea of what I could add to the bracelet to tie into the theme of working in the fashion industry. There were beautiful, detailed types of both gold and silver, all within the theme of clothing and design. To start off the collection of charms I decided to go with a delightfully detailed pair of high heeled shoes. After all nothing says fashion and walking down the runway more than a pair of stiletto heels. A comfortable pair of sandals was also a must on my fashion collection of charms since she had spent hours walking around New York looking for jobs and showing her portfolio. I know that she will realize why these are on there for sure. Fashion also includes purses, so I found three different charms that showed a variety of handbags. Since I am a purse and shoe addict and so is she, there can never be enough of these charms on the bracelet. Plus, it made the bracelet really cute. Hats are a wonderful fashion statement and I found charms of a very elegant looking hat as well as an old fashion bonnet. They are beautifully designed and the hat charm even has some brightly colored gemstones around the brim. Although I know she won't really need it, I decided to add a couple of charms for good luck. I selected a cute little wishing well charm that has a real moving handle as well as a lovely little Irish themed four leaf clover. These charms are just perfect for her plus I know she can wear them anywhere she goes and always be right in style.
