Hotels in Tacoma, Washington: Tacoma offers the holiday maker things to do that are a little different and interesting, like the contemporary art in glass at the Museum of Glass. The shop here even has a children's section which is very nice.

For some great outdoor things to do there is the Point Defiance Park and here there are some 700 acres of grounds with trails and walks in woodland, waterfront and garden views. This also is the home for the local zoo and aquarium, so there is a lot to do for the whole family.

The zoo has hundreds of animals set in their real habitats. The Union Station not only is a great architectural building but tells the history of the great age of train. If you want to know more about Washington State history then the best place to go is the Washington State History Museum both children and adults find this a good place to go and you really learn more about this State, which is very interesting.

Car lovers will really enjoy the collection of cars that Harold LeMay built up and there are some 300 cars on display with the whole collection being around 1000 cars. This is called LeMay Museum at Marymount. This is just a small sample of what you can do in Tacoma, so come and have fun while you have your holiday.
