Here are some venues that's ideal for your wedding receptions: Taronga Zoo Function Centre (located in Mosman) If you are looking for an adventurous wedding, try Taronga Zoo function centre. The views from the higher levels are quite spectacular over Sydney Harbor towards the Bridge and Opera House. You can also avail for zoo tour plus wedding pictorials with your most loved animal. Doltone House (located in Prymont) Doltone House on Jones Bay Wharf at Pyrmont is a great reception venue for large wedding. The food was excellent and the atmosphere intimate but with plenty of room for a large wedding. Pyrmont is a perfect location, very accessible to Sydney city and the Rocks area for pictures. The Bathers' Pavilion (located in North Shore) Bathers' Pavilion on Balmoral Beach is a perfect reception venue for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Perfectly situated right on the beach front Bathers' has a lovely laid back style, and the openness and space inside, combined with the top floor outside deck, makes this a great place to relax, talk, and drink with friends and family after a hard day getting married. Curzon Hall (located in Sydney CBD) Curzon Hall is highly recommended for a wedding and reception venue. This is an old estate house settled in Marsfield and is very accessible because it's located in Sydney CBD. The main hall is large enough to accommodate 100 - 130 guests. Pymble Golf Club (located in St Ives) Pymble Golf Club is located in St Ives and has a great set up for weddings. The golf course is clean and tidy, the green rolling hills and fairways are quite lovely spots that will make your wedding more memorable. There is a big main room that's perfect for medium to large weddings. A ceremony can be held on the first tee or inside or on a large balcony. Quay (located in The Rocks) Quay restaurant is well known for its fine dining but does cater for smaller sized weddings with a top floor area capable of 100 - 120 guests. The views are fantastic, and the location in the heart of the Rocks Area is incredible.
