Virtualization is the most advance form of technology. virtualization allows us to implement a system with less physical labor and money compare to real time implementation and in case of real time implementation the error rate is quite high which make the process of implementation tiresome. when it comes to the virtualization of computer server, same things can be said. A computer server consists of several computer linked with it and date sharing is possible between the connected computers via server. The method of web hosting in which main server is partitioned into several units is known as virtual server or virtual server (VPS) where VPS acts as an intermediate between sever units. Based on present operating systems any kind of VPS host (such as; Linux virtual servers or Windows virtual servers) is available according to the user's requirement. The benefit of a virtual server can be shown from many aspects. Money is the prime factor for anything and this is true for establishing a server. Several devices, network cable, infrastructure etc are needed to install a physical computer server. No one can able to find a server not being multicored these days and the price for a multicore server is quite high in present market. A company might not want to buy such powerful machine since their business doesn't require that much but still have to buy them. As a result they have to bear the cost though that give them extra advantage. A virtual server doesn't require installing a number of physical server but still works as same. So this is the perfectly economical solution for anyone who doesn't want to bear the cost of installing a physical server. A company might not satisfy with a shared server and needs to install a dedicated one. But they don't have to bear the expanse of a dedicated server even though they need the facility of a dedicated server. Since a virtual server provides same access as a physical server does, there is no need for wasting you money. Users enjoy the authorization for root access and control for installing their own application. Security is another benefit of virtual server since every single user enjoy the privilege to preserve their own dedicated system files and such system could not be violated by other user. It is possible that one might host more than one server and one's data base became corrupted - user could able to revive it or take any other steps without affecting other existing database within same server. It's risky to perform any experimental attempt in physical server since it could damage the whole server system and cause a great amount of financial loss. But when it comes to virtual server, experimenting implies no risk at all. This is possible for a marvelous feature (named virtual server snapshot) of virtual server which allows user to create recovery points and restore to the previous condition by using the point. Sometime software update causes unintended situation and may require restoring default setting - this feature helps a lot in such cases.
